Hi, I'm Diego, an Italian web and mobile developer who loves building fast, polished products.
I'm based in Italy, and I've also lived in Spain, New Zealand and Australia. I 🧡 working remotely.
I work in the JavaScript ecosystem, mostly on the front end. Next.js, my favorite framework, pulled me towards the back end too, and I enjoy owning a feature from the UI to the database.
Lately I've been exploring AI: building LLM-powered features and using it to work better every day.
My goal is to keep growing as a well-rounded web developer and to contribute to open source along the way.

I add LLMs to real products: streaming chat interfaces, smooth loading states and responses the UI can actually rely on.
Upload a PDF, ask questions, get answers grounded in its content. I built it end to end, from the upload to the conversation.
I use AI coding agents to prototype faster and refactor with confidence, while I keep reviewing and owning every line that ships.
Here are some projects I've worked on
Personal branding website for a personal trainer, built with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Content is managed through Sanity as a headless CMS, so it can grow without touching the code. Cal.com is integrated to let visitors book a call directly from the site.
Proof of concept exploring Better Auth, a modern authentication library for Next.js. It covers email login and social sign-in with Google and GitHub, with transactional emails sent through Resend.
Upload a PDF and ask questions about its content. The app uses the OpenAI API and the Vercel AI SDK to analyze the document and stream answers in a chat interface.
Mobile app for a gym, built with React Native. Members can check their membership details and follow their workout plans. Developed at Blhack, the company I worked for.
A lightweight Raycast extension to search the official React documentation without leaving your workflow. Open source and used by more than 1,800 people.
Full-stack app to plan trips and track their expenses, with user authentication handled by NextAuth.
A starter template for Next.js apps using Drizzle ORM and Turso as the database, to get a new project up and running quickly.
Responsive website for an Italian restaurant, built with Next.js, Tailwind CSS and TypeScript. The menu is fetched dynamically from the Notion API, so the owner can update it without a developer.
